Good deals! And a mistake.

As soon as I cut my coupons, I was ready to go get some good deals!  Which may have be the reason I made a boo-boo on my purchase, more on that below.  I think I still came out ahead!

Softsoap: Buy one, get one free; used $1/1 Walgreens and $1/1 manufacturer: 2 for $2.49

2 Papermate Pencils: $0.39 each: $0.78

Crayola Crayons: $1; received $1 Register Reward: Free!


2 Kotex: 2 for $5; used $2/2: $3 for 2

Huggies Wipes*: 2 $2/1: $1.99!

3 Lysol Wipes*: 2 for $5; buy 3 get 1 free with rebate: $5 for 2

Snickers Miniatures: 2 for $5; used $1/1; received $1 Register Reward: $3 for 2

* Huggies: This is where it pays to be friendly with the cashiers!  I had a $2 Walgreens coupon and a $0.50 manufacturer coupon.  The cashier took the $2 coupon and said that she had a better coupon than the $0.50 coupon.  She had an additional $2 coupon!  Woo hoo!  So the Huggies wipes that were $5.99 came down to $1.99!

* Lysol: I've printed my rebate and will send it in!  (My mistake: In my haste I forgot the Lysol wipes coupon from today's insert at home!  Gah!  I will be putting that to good use soon!)
